Reveillon

In France, a special supper is enjoyed on Christmas Eve following the midnight mass. This elaborate meal, often hosted by affluent members of the town or village, is steeped in tradition. At the center of the feast typically lies the renowned dish known as “boudin noir” or black pudding. The name “reveillon” is also used to describe a similar festive gathering that takes place on New Year’s Eve, offering another occasion for celebration and indulgence.
