Scrambled eggs

Begin preparing scrambled eggs by first beating the eggs together, and then adding salt and pepper to taste. For added richness, a small quantity of milk can be incorporated into the mixture. Pour the egg mixture into a saucepan and stir over low heat until the mixture begins to thicken. At this point, remove the pan from the heat and continue stirring until the mixture achieves a creamy consistency. Serve the scrambled eggs immediately, by mounding them on top of a slice of hot, buttered toast.
