Custard apple

This tropical fruit native to the Americas bears a resemblance to an apple, exhibiting a green or dark brown hue on its exterior. Its soft, edible pulp, while sweet, lacks character in its flavor profile. Often referred to as bullock’s heart, this fruit is also known by the moniker of custard apple, or simply paw-paw.

This fruit is harvested from a tree that flourishes in the West Indies and South America. The sizable, toothsome fruit bears a resemblance to a miniature pineapple, with its flesh being yellow and fleshy.
