(More correctly) (3-dimensional) globose, in the shape of a sphere.


Circular or nearly so.


Circular in outline.


Round in shape. This term is used to describe round muscles, like the eye’s orbicular muscle (orbicularis oculi) and the mouth’s orbicular muscles (orbicularis oris).
