Congestive cardiomyopathy

Myocardial disease associated with enlargement of the left ventricle of the heart and congestive heart failure.

Commonly known as dilated cardiomyopathy, this cardiac condition involves the expansion and stretching of the heart chamber walls, leading to an enlargement of the ventricles. This enables them to accommodate a larger volume of blood compared to the standard capacity.
