Absence or loss of one quarter of the visual field (i.e. upper nasal (inner), upper temporal (outer), lower nasal (inner), or lower temporal (outer)). In homonymous quadrantanopsia the same quarter is lost in the field of vision of each eye.
Loss of sight in approx, one fourth of the visual field.
