Uveal tract

Collective term for the ciliary body of the eye; also known as the uvea.


The uveal tract, also known as the uvea, refers to the pigmented membrane that spans from the back of the retina of the eye and extends forward to encompass the iris. Comprising three distinct parts, namely the iris, choroid, and ciliary body, this intricate structure plays a crucial role in the overall function and health of the eye.
