Tearing

Watering of the eye resulting from excessive tear production caused by irritation (as from a foreign object), infection, or strong emotion.

Abnormal overflow of tears from the eye and down the cheek. In the healthy eye, tears are produced by the lacrimal glands in the upper eyelids and other glands in the conjunctiva, then they spread across the surface of the eyes and lubricate them at each blink.
