Strangury

Is the painful passage of small quantities of urine which are expelled slowly by straining with severe urgency; it is usually accompanied with the unsatisfying feeling of a remaining volume inside and a desire to pass something that will not pass.

Slow urination or difficult urination with pain, caused by a muscular spasm of the bladder and the tube (urethra) through which urine passes out of the body.

Severe pain in the urethra referred from the base of the bladder and associated with an intense desire to pass urine. It occurs when the base of the bladder is irritated by a stone or an indwelling catheter. It is also noted in patients with an invasive cancer of the base of the bladder or severe cystitis or prostatitis, when the strong desire to urinate is accompanied by the painful passage of a few drops of urine.

Painful and interrupted urination in drops produced by spasmodic muscular contraction of the urethra and bladder.

Experiencing a distressing and frequent compulsion to void the bladder, even when only a small amount of urine can be expelled. This sensation may arise due to factors such as inflammation, the presence of bladder stones, or bladder cancer.

The painful release of urine in tiny amounts or droplets.

A gradual and distressing release of urine, caused by spasms in the urethra and bladder.
