A prostaglandin that is a metabolite of arachidonic acid, inhibits platelet aggregation, and dilates blood vessels.
An anticlotting factor made by blood vessel walls and some other tissues.
A prostaglandin produced by the endothelial lining of the blood vessels. It inhibits the aggregation of platelets, and thereby reduces the likelihood of the blood clotting. It is also a strong vasodilator.
