Swelling in a ureter caused by narrowing of the opening where the ureter enters the bladder.
Prolapse of the end portion of the ureter into the bladder; it may lead to obstructed urine flow and is usually treated by surgery.
A cystic swelling of the wall of the ureter at the point where it passes into the bladder. It is associated with stenosis of the opening of the ureter and it may cause impaired drainage of the kidney with dilatation of the ureter and hydronephrosis. If urinary obstruction is present, the ureterocele should be dealt with surgically.
