White clover is mostly planted with ryegrass, orchardgrass or tall fescue. It is a perennial legume which was introduced in Europe and is widely distributed today. It grows in a prostrate and stoloniferous manner. The leaves are trifoliate which might or not have crescent or water mark on its upper surface. The flower heads consists of 40 -100 florets which are borne on the long stalks. The florets are white with a pink hue.
